A lot of times if you work or go to school in a city you can request a card even if you don’t live there. You can also ask your library if they have reciprocity with other libraries. Also some libraries let you join for a small-fee if you are not a resident. There’s a bunch of different ways.

FYI…if you join multiple library systems you can add them all to Libby and help lower your wait times. I rarely have to wait 10 wks because I belong to 5 different libraries.
