Any chance they are setting the stage for not sending aid? No one could have survived, so why do search and rescue? I really don’t like being this cynical

Let’s get real, we are very close to losing Congress. Impeachment must begin in the House, and the Speaker refuses to use his gavel. No bills can be passed without both houses, so the Senate can’t act either. I am not sure if the Supreme Court will step in on anything.

Electronic scan/ counting on Election Day, and there is still the paper printout if a hand recount is needed. Oh and the paper is counted and tallied with the electronic cards at the end of the day before poll workers go home.

Thanks for all you do. Maybe issue ‘alerts’ instead of ‘warnings’, especially if an EMA / LEO has made a report already, though I’m in IT, and so a warning in a log isn’t always a problem to me.

It increases the cost of the election, and time to get a result to have paper. In Georgia, the voter gets a paper copy printed out that the voter reviews before officially casting the ballot.
