Too many people think that a journalist looking into allegations is wrong. It's what we do. The number of times I've chased a story to find out it isn't a story would amaze you. Sometimes there's fire under the smoke. Sometimes it's just smoke.
Hegseth has said that he got into West Point but didn’t attend.

We asked West Pt public affairs, which told us twice on the record that he hadn’t even applied there.

We reached out. Hegseth's spox gave us his acceptance letter.

Today is expected to be a soggy one, and the rain, warm temperatures and early December snowpack could lead to flooding. Take all the precautions you'd normally take for a high flood risk and watch where you're driving. With temps where they are, roads could be icy or become icy quickly.
