My very precious niece Leslie wrote a remembrance of her brother Laurence, who was 30 years old. I recall his last Facebook post, a scenic Las Vegas view captioned, “My last day was a good day.” He served five tours in combat.

When Christianity was new, it was a vulnerable movement that empowered & validated those whom the empire suppressed. The Gospel initially gave hope to Jews and later to all others who understood that their chances for a future within their world were bleak.

Please explain to me, like I'm a 5-year-old, what being an elite, non-Indigenous, Zionist, neoliberal, pro-Western, pro-Trump resistor has to do with peace, especially after watching civil disobedients, protestors, statespersons, doctors, journalists, professors, and flotillas fill our stream.

She won the Nobel, but it was still a concession to DJT because they admire each other. She's an elite white supply-side capitalist in a country with colonized Indigenous peoples. The prize could have gone to a Palestinian, perhaps Mazin Qumsiyeh. The Nobel Committee fears Zionists.

We are almost never not fighting. I find it dysregulating, but it helps to remind one another of the reality and for people to stop pretending like it's not happening.
