I listened to the first Vampire Weekend in 2007 but it didn't officially come out until Jan 2008. There was a whole era where leaks were coming out months before the official release date. I know this wasn't a leak but official label release dates matter. April 23, 2002. Don't overthink this.

If Apple Music fixed their platform and made it as user friendly as Spotify people would switch. It's still the same iTunes from 15 years ago with all the same bugs.

As a kid that grew up in the era of hair metal, I can proudly say I love 90’s and 2000’s indie, while also having loved Operation Mindcrime when I was 15. Empire was a good album too.
