I was amazed at the difference in cost at CVS vs. Cost Plus. I had a 90 day prescription for generic Crestor sent to my local pharmacy. It was not covered by my insurance so the price was $804. I said not going to happen. Then I checked Costco Plus and the same prescription came in just under $20.

I have been wondering how long it would take for criminals to realize this opportunity. Not long, obviously. ICE needs to follow normal ID protocols. No masks, ID badges properly displayed, and verify that the person they are detaining is actually the person they are supposed to detain.

Clearly, 47 doesn’t understand DHS well enough to know that he already has the information he is harassing Harvard to provide.

I have always said that if you really want to improve an IT system, have the designers sit with the users and learn how the tool is being used. When I worked in the wine industry I was sure that the software was designed to maximize the number of clicks required to complete the most frequent tasks.

a new file name before the first keystroke! They took a system that wasn’t broken and made it more breakable.

Between grammar check and auto recover, I thought it couldn’t get any worse. Then our IT folks decided it would be helpful to set everything to auto save and sync across all platforms. God help the person who pulls up an old file to update the information without disabling auto save and saving /1
