In organic world, no two events are same and any similarity is imaginary, no event ever happens again, so there's nothing to "learn from history" about. You either know the underlying law, and then it's formula, not "history", or you delude yourself with false similarity that makes you "feel better"

Government is institutionalized stupidity. Instead of addressing the problem of those unable to get direction and respect individual autonomy without being told what to do, those needing "religion as source of morality", it makes being stupid as something to be proud of, and calls it "patriotism".
