The last thought is that tools like the Flipper Zero are really good and healthy for industries like this. Encryption for the web and stuff used to be basically non-existent just a few years ago: now it’s everywhere. That’s because people built and distributed (software) tools like Firesheep.

Where do you live? I don't know a single person, even old ones, who uses SMS. I'm not exaggerating.

Even leaving the awful privacy aspect of the SMS, it's an obvious stupidity to pay per message count and even more in roaming instead of unlimited messaging in any app with people from any country.

Nobody uses SMS for personal communications in 2025. Only automatic notifications from banks and promo campaigns.

Until millions of people from Iran, Pakistan, Russia, Palestinians and other countries are on the same terms of money transactions as Americans everywhere, of course it is. Otherwise it's a huge inequality to make business worldwide.

I remember there were articles describing that the ring is used as a spying network which snitches their camera/audio content to the police.
