💯! It's just crazy. He was peeing bright red blood, not just pee that was pink tinted. And then it just stopped. But worth every $$$, as I know you know!

He's good. Perfectly fine it seems. I've learned that idiopathic feline cystitis can be brought on by stress and "idiopathic" means "take my money for no apparent reason".

He seems to be doing ok, thank you. I haven't seen any blood today, and he has peed and had water and been eating. I slept on the couch with him last night to keep an eye on him and he is having a nap on me now.

That means the bladder is not enlarged because that means it's not backed up due to swelling in the urethra. So now I take him home and keep watching for more blood on the floor and the app for my litter robots will tell me how often he's in the litter boxes.
