Preparing for a royal dining scene with 10+ NPCs for next session.
I find writing down on a index cards: name, role, nobility/importance, view of the PCs, view to other NPCs in room, 3 questions for PCs & 3 potential conversations, & motivations.
Occasionally, glancing trying to set it to memory.

My knowledge of the Feywild & all that setting has to offer is my weakest knowledge skill. It’s time to dive into some reading & fix that.

D&D: we dove into Tom Cartos’ Build-A-Bastion modular tile set from his Patreon, and one of our players even printed out the pieces to bring our stronghold to life. They sorted through layouts, selected facilities, & conducted in-character interviews for staff complete with a Zone of Truth spell.

Writing a D&D adventure and stuck between making it a one-shot or turning it into a full module. I pictured it as a one-shot, but I’ve got so many ideas it could easily expand into something bigger—maybe levels 3–5 or even 5–8. Anyone else run into this? #D&D
