I started building prototypes for Quicksplit on Android on 31 Jan. Then started work on the real app on 3 March. By May, I was lucky enough to get some beta testers

And yesterday it dropped on the Google Play store!🎉🎉

We made some missteps along the way: here's what we learnt

Have been using @kagi.com Assistant a bunch for building the Quicksplit Android app

Currently using planner/executor mode: Gemini 2.5 Pro Preview to plan features in markdown, then Sonnet for executor mode
