The days since January 20th have been mind-boggling. I am grateful for Angus King (I-ME) taking to the Senate floor and speaking the truth prior to the Russel Vought confirmation vote. I am thankful for the judges who have blocked the unconstitutional actions by placing stop orders in the path.

The news conference from Mar a Lago talking about how Trump is going to do so much better than the past four years is painful to listen to as he spews mis- and false information. "Nobody has won more cases than I against the DoJ," says Trump.

Memories to Merrick Garland:

Release the Special Prosecutor's Report. The US citizenry deserves to know the contents.

Lindsey Graham is spinning the stories about Hegseth on "Meet the Press." Miss Graham is able to sit and spin without any conscience interference! He says he votes for all the Cabinet nominees because he believes the President deserves to have who he wants to advise him.

Hegseth continues to spin and lie about what he has said in the past about women in the service and LGBTQ+ serving alongside our warriors. I stand with so many others and say he has no business as Defense Secretary. He failed at leading two tiny Veterans' groups for financial mismanagement.

What experience does a "coked up imbecile" bring to the diplomatic stage with Kimberly Guilfoyle being nominated to be the Greek Ambassador. Lends new meaning to "sleeping your way to the top."

Seventy-five Nobel Laureates have penned an open letter to the US Senate opposing RFK Jr.'s nomination to lead the DHHS. I bet none of them has a worm in his brain or opposes vaccinations to protect the population. I am adding my voice to the opposition and urge the Senators to take note.

The "Meet the Press" interview presented a dark view of the American situation. Trump wants us to be able to walk across the street to buy a loaf of bread without being shot. That is a a very dark view of the state of affairs. I am not Pollyanna, but view the US and the world with more positivity.

Watching the "Meet the Press" interview and am astounded by the claims that Trump topped wars through the use of tariffs. He followed that claim with "the tariffs cost the US nothing." What does he call the farmers' bail out of $80 billion following the trade war with China over tariffs?

As we consider the Cabinet nominations, future behavior in a role reflects the past behavior both professionally and personally. In my career, was always reminded to ask about past experience and behaviors when considering a hiring decision. Just saying there might be a bit of truth there.
