My 2024 AOTY list. Hoping I didn't forget anything. It's been a very good year for music!

The NYT Cooking app is officially perfect now that I don't have to frantically Google how to convert from cups every time I cook

Early impression of GNX is that it's going to be divisive - Kendricks most West Coast inspired production, no obvious 'concept' tying it all together like GKMC/TBAP/Morale.

After a couple of listens i'm finding it very fun, if a little low-key by Kendrick's ridiculous standards.

Gutted about this. Saw and played a few gigs at The Moon and it was a great venue. This kind of thing will keep happening unless grassroots music is properly funded.

It's not often anymore you get an actual suprise drop which is exciting. But this is certainly one of those.

Just went down a rabbit hole trying to find out if Deerhunter have said/done anything since their last album and it seems they have kinda vanished off the face of the earth.

Hope they are doing well, would love to see them again!

I can't even find words to describe it but the new Mount Eerie album is just magical and otherworldly. I don't know how Phil Elverum does it

My music taste right now consists of alternating between listening to Brat remixes and the new Godspeed You Black Emperor album.

10/10 can recommend.

A few snaps from a great Woo division meetup last week in Tulum, Mexico. 🇲🇽

Always a lot of fun hanging out with colleagues both old and new!

Uxbridge turnout was 46.23% - down more than 20% from the turnout in 2019. If I was Rayner I'd be more tempted to pin the problem on voters staying at home because Labour/Starmer are so depressing and almost indistinguishable from the Tories rather than blaming Sadiq Khan.

Hello world 👋

I feel a little like an old person trying to use email right now. How does one get started with Bluesky?
