Work got me a mother's day present.

I'm currently installing Windows 11 far enough to activate the license on my MS account, then blowing it away and installing #Linux
A Beelink SER8 Ryzen Mini PC. It's sitting on a Sonic the hedgehog mouse mat and has a red translucent USB drive sticking out of a port on the front. Above it is a cat bed shelf to stop cats sleeping on my PC.

Mod: I'm not sure I've ever seen a post receive so many reports (at least 8 so far) when it obviously does not break the rules. No, this is not "targeted harassment". No, this is not "threatening violence at someone else". Yes, this is "Seattle related". Edit: Some are reporting for "It's promoting hate based on identity or vulnerability"? It's promoting hate based on someone for being a dick. If being a dick is part of the driver's identity, maybe you have a point.

Finally had some time to use my new laptop for it's second purpose, a foldable with an active pen. Gnome and #Krita worked really well on the Thinkpad.

It has been a long time since I've drawn things, but I think this may spur me on. Going to make them into stickers for Miss E's PC.

Well that took 6 clicks, but it's done now.

As someone who games on Linux so can't get Xbox Game Pass anymore, this was at least a way of adding random new games to my Steam library. But I can actually vote with my wallet here so I will.

I did this once and had to get the photo of Cheese becoming a shelf. #cat
