I absolutely agree and it would be great to catch up virtually or in person.

There many topics I've been wanting to discuss with you. Including other less important topic we would disagree on. Eg. your love and my hate of Big Brother.
Thank you for this discussion. Its been really insightful.

Killing of 10s of thousands of people out of a population of millions that doesn't seem deliberate and systematic when he has the power to do so much more.

Oh and isn't that what the Palestinians (Who are Muslim) tried to do on Oct 7. Where is the contuining International condemnation for that.
December 17, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Yay we agree on something. And that's to disagree😂

What do you believe the definition of Genocide is?
December 17, 2025 at 9:54 PM
This is where we are REALLY gonna disagree but.......

Your 2nd paragraph above i believe is shared by alot of Aussie and is not factual.

Many of the organisers to the rallies etal of Israel stem from groups who mean harm and disruption.
Unfortunately the many who follow fall in like sheep.

I agree I think that the current Israeli government is appalling.
But as I mention the messages have not been at govt but at Jews asva whole. As example I mentioned "From the river to the sea"

This is not a view from the ECAJ. They are an organisation (Of course being Jewish) that report on actual figures of incidents that have been reported.
I am sure many other community organisations do the same e.g. Islam orgs do Atnti Islam. LBGTIQ orgs do similar.

Oh and Happy Birthday young fellow 🎊
December 17, 2025 at 9:14 PM
As PM it is his personal responsibility. Nobody else is currently PM.

You are incorrect according to the ECAJs latest report anti-Semitism had been up 5 times since October 7th.

Global Jewish leaders: Australia’s antisemitism spike is a warning for democracies worldwide - ECAJ
With antisemitic incidents in Australia almost five times the pre-October 7 levels, the J7 Task Force meeting in Sydney warns of a global pattern. Jewish leaders from the world's seven largest diaspor...

As PM one of his responsibilities is for the safety of all Australian people.

So yes this includes his responsibility in stopping the rise in anti-Semitism in this country.

And if PM does a bad job they are responsible for them they need to take some blame.

Can we try to stick to anti-Semitism in Australia. Happy to discuss Israel/Palestine in a different time although related it's a different discussion.
December 17, 2025 at 10:12 AM
This was not how it was received by the Jewish community.

So using your logic how is what Josh said aimed at the Australian Government different than the Pally protesters supposedly aimed at the Israeli government.

So when the protesters chanted "From the river to the sea" that wasn't aimed at the Israeli government.
December 17, 2025 at 9:58 AM
You point about fringe ideas is the same point with the pro-pally protests.

Thinking specifically that happened to the restaurant Miznon in Melbourne
December 17, 2025 at 9:40 AM
Although this is interesting I'm getting RSI.😊
December 17, 2025 at 9:36 AM
So how are these protests allowed to include flags and photos of illegal terrorists and terror organisations?

Also protests are only one issue that needs to be managed. Friedenberg also called for more education, changes to immigration, gun laws and other points.
December 17, 2025 at 9:33 AM
They're messages are to the PM not the Australian people. He needs to do more.
December 17, 2025 at 9:28 AM
Anti-Semitism may not be "Everywhere" but there have been many incidents in many places across the country over the last 2 years.
December 17, 2025 at 9:26 AM
Great points. And this is where we have to be careful what we hear and how we interpret that.

The only escalation suggested is that of the legal kind. Specifically the government has to do more to curb anti-Semitism.
December 17, 2025 at 9:25 AM
That's not what I'm saying. I am specifically talking about these 2 people and potentially anyone that helped them.
December 17, 2025 at 9:15 AM
These two people didn't just do a horrible thing but acted in pre-determined way specifically shooting at a Jewish event. What could be more anti-Semitic than that?
December 17, 2025 at 9:06 AM
Should these people be calm? Josh is saying what many of us feel.
December 17, 2025 at 8:49 AM
This is not a time to be calm but a time to be upset and angry.
