Im no hater of RL, i wish them the best, but I feel some are too confident in them succeeding. But let’s see, i might be too pessimistic about the future!

Ty for the inputs. I might be wrong but Neutron being months away for inaugural flight and getting his 1st (first!) contract, RL blattantly hidding in its financials the bad curves (some YtoY comparaison were missing) and them being carried by their subsystem branch is, at least, intriging 1/2

Oh that’s amazing! In the same vein, my watch has its dial made using Soyuz booster metal from the brand Werenbach (I bought it for myself with my first salary). Although a bit expensive it is still my favorite gift to myself!

I wonder if they are accepting less of those or if the demand is decreasing overall.
RocketLab could definitely but their latest financial report is not looking that amazing (launch-wise) imho with cost of operation increasing and them having to increase their rocket price up once again…

To go further, it feels SpaceX does not even care about the market right now. They just want to fulfill their needs. What Im mentionning in my first post and the announcement of F9 retiring when Starship is ready from a few days ago goes in this direction at least and it is really weird…

Great billet, as always. As pointed in it, the ~10% of external launches are almost a bit disapointing. Less Transporter missions than last year seems almost like an anomaly. At the end creating their own needs makes SpaceX less «relevant» imo and leave the door open for others for small contracts?

Without going in too much details so I don’t doxx myself, my company works for undisclosed clients that are interested in those kind of data
So not available publicly, but with a LinkedIn API and a bit pf cleaning it’s feasable

We are doing this kind of work to compare SpaceX to ArianeGroup for example (comparing number of engineers etc…)

J’avouerai avoir été un gros fan du projet D-Orbit jusqu’il y a peu. Réussir à être le seul à s’en sortir en LMD c’est fort. Mais les recents projets d’ADR qu’ils ont annoncé m’ont vraiment refroidit…

En terme de protection de données tu sais ce que ça vaut ?
On hésite à intégrer certains outils IA à nos suites mais on ne traite certaines données assez confidentielles donc on est un peu hésitants

Ah ça nul doute, je ne pense pas que Avio était là en mode « bon prochaine campagne de comm, on balance tout sur ces réservoirs » hahah mais tout de même, le timing de la bourde est assez fabuleux je trouve

On est deux. Bcp d’indus FR recrutent des ingés pour la moindre tache demandant de faire des calculs. Comme si les techni. sup étaient incapables… Pour ça qu’on se retrouve avec une pénurie d’ingé en France d’ailleurs, ils en recrutent beaucoup trop

Je peux malheureusement pas donner de noms, mais juste en France on a des pontes qui demandent à mapper des gros industriels US pour comprendre leurs stratégies…

Et un alumni aura toujours tendance à recruter un ancien de son école à XP égale (ou non d’ailleurs). Dans des domaines de pointes ça peut être intéressant (dans le spatial ou aero au hasard)

Je donne un exemple d’un cas que j’ai vu en l’occurrence d’un gros industriel FR. Si ton concurrent performe bien et que tu peux récup ses « futurs talents » et le priver d’un réseau c’est cool. Pareil pour te rendre compte que tu as trop ou pas assez d’ingé dans ta masse salariale au prorata

Beaucoup de choses, si tu veux mapper une entreprise concurrente par exemple. Regarder les profils et les écoles dans lesquels ils recrutent, le % d’ingénieurs dans les effectifs par exemple aussi… Tu serais étonné.e des entreprises qui sont amenées à faire cela

Yes exactement. J’ai pu l’utiliser et c’est globalement la solution que l’on avait retenue à défaut d’une « in-house » API

C’est globalement la solution utilisée par toute entreprise qui récupère les données de LinkedIn, elle est parfois un peu limitée en nombre de recherche et pas spécialement pratique pour certains cas par contre
