No, this journalist does a lot of great work. What I hear is it's the editors requiring "feel good stories". At least that was true when their former Bangkok bureau chief got huge flack online over "durian is weird" and dog-grooming stories a few years ago.

Yeah it's that unpredictable time of year on both coasts. FB groups and Reddit are full of people asking for weather advice but the best anyone can give is "good luck."

Sure if you're time limited and can afford the flight which I think is a little pricey since Bangkok Airways is the only option (last I checked anyway). Kood is one of Thailand's most beautiful islands, enjoy!
