In taking about the various systems he has observed, Ben stated that some explicitly require paper because the concept of a page is essential. I think that’s a stretch and that pages can certainly be represented in a digital medium.

In my experience, trying to control the ways people contact you is pretty futile. I think it’s a lot more useful to design your system in a way that it can accept input from various sources.
