I had my first son when I was 27. I had horrible PPD. I loved my son, & I wanted to be a good mom, but I didn’t know how to deal with everything all at once. Most of the time, though, I was happy being a mom, AND I was sad to be losing so much of my independence. That’s the paradox of motherhood.

I watched this movie this weekend to keep my head up.
