I was actually in a funeral home this weekend, for my grandma's visitation. Small town funeral home that doesn't seem to have changed much since I was last in it in 1998. Family business, and now someone I want to high school with is the now Director.

Pretty new to John Scalzi. Becky and I have listened to Starter Villain, Red Shirts and the Kaiju Preservation Society on road trips. Enjoyed them quite a bit

Yeah. Liked the first two sections a lot. Last one was fine - sort of written in an annoying way. Good series overall but Annihilation is the standout for me
