1st attempt at a chicken pot pie. 🥧. Need to work on the vent slices. Also going to try adding a bit of seasoning specifically to the chicken first. Filling was great! Also considering a puff pastry top. Oh and definitely a larger pan to start. Notes taken, lessons learned. #cooking #rookie

I've decided less phone📱time and more time trying to read 📖. I don't know exactly what genre I want to read but I'm going to start with some books around the house. I also think I want to have physical copies of books to keep a device out of my face. I'm starting with this book about ESPN. #read

Is it just me or can your lips get addicted to Chapstick? If I get into a good routine of using it and then forget 1 time, my lips feel like I've been in the Sahara for a week with no water. Is there some sort of additive in there?!

This is Abby, a mini schnauzer, mini poodle mix or “Schnoodle” if you will. She is almost 3 years old. She keeps Sam busy and spends most of her days trying to get as much attention as possible.

I guess my first few posts should introduce me in some way. We can start with my boy, Sam. He's about 8 in this picture. Now a 15 year old Yorkie. The best friend of my wife and myself. Older brother to his sister Abby who you will meet in a future post. He is literally the best.
