Kent Johnson? Although he's struggling this year, he's one of Connor's best friends, and would have instant chemistry with him. He has a positive corsi and had a breakout year last year. A big, Tom Wilson-type power forward would be nice, but who is available in a trade?

Although I don't think they necessarily "need" him, I would love to see them trade for Quinn Hughes. With all of the high draft picks in recent years, they're going to reach a point where they won't have roster spots for all of them, and would easily have the pieces to make a deal. Swing big, Kyle!!

What's not insignificant, though, is that Necas is 3 years younger and *should be* better longer.

If they truly go by 'best player available', as Kyle likes to tell everyone, then if Misa is off the board, he better draft Hagens over the "BIG" centers who are a measly one inch taller!! Still think Hagens will be, at worst, the 2nd best forward in this draft.

What about trading #3 to the Islanders for Barzal? Hawks get #1C/W to play with Bedard; Isles get BOTH Schaefer and Hagens. Barzal turns 28 in a couple weeks and has 6 years left, paying him $9.15M per. Isles have a mini rebuild on the fly, while the Hawks make Bedard VERY happy. Who says no?

We'll see if he jumps to the NHL. Maybe his wife just wanted him to stay put? The only other job that could possibly be enticing would be Anaheim, and only if they prefer being in California. Anywhere else would be a horrible look on the Hawks.

It was decided by the refs when they called a phantom call on Murphy, which allowed the Habs to tie it. Watch out for this Hawks team in the future...they are FAST!

Hilarious!! 😂 How about the softest of soft calls on Murphy which lead to the power play in which Montreal tied the game with 3 minutes left?! Refs were brutal both ways. The young Hawks were skating circles around the Habs all night. These two teams will compete in a Cup Final in two years!!

He needs to spend time this summer with Moore's skating coach. His inability to separate is the difference between him and the other elite players.
