I just finished watching “Britain and the Blitz” on Netflix and thought it excellent. At the end, Winston Churchill says: “The final extinction of a baleful domination will pave the way to a broader solidarity than we could have ever planned if we had not marched through the fire.” Let's go!

The future is a lot more uncertain than it was before yesterday (1/20/2025). There is an assumption that the future is worth less than the present. Combatting global warming, figuring out how to live sustainably, and protecting democracy all require a future that is worth more than the present.
