As if the tariffs weren’t bad enough…we’re here voting on the Senate floor to make clear that the Senate Republican budget is a tax scam for the wealthiest, adding 37 trillion to the debt in the next 30 years.

President Trump’s Kennedy Center announcement appears to be blatantly illegal. U.S. Code says general trustees “shall hold office … for a term of 6 years” - nothing about the President having power to remove - and the Chairperson is appointed by the Board. A president cannot appoint himself.
