I’m a retired teacher who encouraged young students to share their stories, hopes, and dreams (and value those of others).
All children should feel seen and heard and be represented by those who advocate for a country where needs are met and stories, hopes, and dreams are valued.

As an Oxy alum, every time I revisit the college – last year was my 50th reunion – I’m struck by both the beauty of the campus and the engagement of the students and faculty. Glad you were able to experience both!

Yes! At 71, I feel as if I’m on a stormy beach where positive societal foundational changes over the last 50+ years are, like sand beneath my feet, being quickly washed away by huge waves of anger and hate. I need to regain balance and then work to understand how the country can again move forward.
