Yeah, I was explaining this storyline to my partner. Chantel & Pedro seemed to love each other, and if her family (her MOM) had stayed out of it, I think they could’ve made it long-term. The Mom chose to bulldoze Chantel’s personal life, for a few minutes of faux fame. Sad.

Last yr, we moved, to a home w/a nice-sized backyrd, & I keep finding new things to enjoy, like these peonies(?). Some days, I’m not well enough to walk the backyard w/my dog, but I enjoy it, when I can. & I remind myself, we are not only worth what we can produce, that’s not our only value. 🩷
