Sewing together a story with different real-world mythologies is a lot of fun! My plot notes are full of Aztec and Norse fare. Also, getting a 1500's New World character to a specific time in Europe via historical events has been rewarding!

Been chipping away at this beast for awhile.
So much going on under a canopy of rich exposition. I'm usually not huge on making angels a race of people in fantasy (usually overpowered and boring), but it works well here. All the characters are deliciously flawed, too.

Sasquatch Haven is a dive bar in my ficticious town of Azure Creek near the CA/OR border. Two of my characters meet here under mysterious circumstances. The chainsaw carving of Bigfoot has become a point of humor and regular discussion.

Decided to see what all the fuss is about. Pretty fun! Has a BotW feel to it. The lore is interesting. Clothing and fashion are integral to the human experience. Never thought about the magic of style. Very playful take.

Throwback to last year when I saw Xandria and Battle Beast here in Orlando. It was my first gig in awhile! I do miss that part of living close to Hollywood. We got all the concerts. Used to be at a club at least once a month if not more. Ah well...fond memories now.

Had a nice night at Animal Kingdom yesterday. Had to say goodbye to Dino Land as they're turning it into something for Indiana Jones and Encanto.
