I enjoy writing poetry, being a Life Coach and Minister, Human/Equal Rights, and a campaign Advocate. I’m a Cancer caregiver and had many jobs in the Life Insurance industry. I'm retired and enjoy, time with family and friends, and traveling in my RVing.
So thank you all for your kindness and understanding as I navigate this new chapter of life. I thought we had at least 20 years left to be together. We both turned 65 this year and were looking forward to our retirement. So, I plan to travel to the places we wanted to visit to honor his memory.

I've been blessed to have spent all these years with my husband and to have created all the beautiful memories we've shared together. I miss him dearly, and I talk to his spirit every day.

The dogs were able to be with him, and it made him happy to be at home instead of a sterile environment. My friends and family have been there to support me through the grieving process. They were there when I needed them and let me be alone when I needed to be.

So, he came home and had hospice care for two days before he passed. I'm grateful that he was home where he wanted to be. He saw the roses blooming outside the window, and he mentioned how pretty they were.

The last fifteen days of his life were spent in different departments of the hospital. He was in the intensive care unit for a few days, then a regular hospital room for about 8 days, then a rehab facility for two days, and he wanted to come home.

However, it came back and spread to other parts of his body, and it was too much for him to bear anymore. He started the trial drug again, but his body just would not cooperate with the drug the last time around.

I want to extend my gratitude to all who donated and showed us their support. My husband passed away on June 17 from his cancer. He was a fighter and beat the cancer back once with chemo and the second time with a trial drug, which both worked miracles.

Yes, both same-sex and interracial marriage are protected under the 14th Amendment, through its Equal Protection Clause, where all citizens have a right to marry. As established by
landmark Supreme Court cases like "Obergefell v. Hodges" and "Loving v. Virginia."
