Oh my god my wheel is feeling very Le Pons rn okay! This is Amber!!! My main protagonist for Le Pons! She's on a journey every princess must take to see the All-Queen, with a special package she must deliver as well! This is the story breakdown babey MUCH more info in Alt!!!
Amber a tanned girl with long amber colored hair up in a ponytail, two strands falling in front of her ears. She has red concave triangle (for a lack of better terms) markings on her face and arms She wears a necklace with a green gem like stone, like all Formika do. Her under outfit is a body tight sleeveless one piece that flares out into poofy pants before tightening back up around her knees and stopping at her ankles. It's a dark reddish brown color. She wears a almost terracotta orange fabric on top, held together by a red fabric belt. The train of the orange fabric is vaguely separated into a bug wing cover shape. Okie dokie, Amber has probably gone through the most drastic change out of the other two main kids. (I am not posting that its so old and SO bad) And was originally a nameless character for a short story involving a mailman crossing a massive bridge that seemingly swings open like a door or gate whenever it feels like it. The punchline is it's an ant trying to cross the gate into my yard. And sense then the world has just developed outward, all of the Le Pons characters are based off of the smaller creatures of the world, 80% bugs the rest lizards and sometimes frogs. Frogs are I think the biggest animals I'll design off of and I'm not even sure if I'm keeping it that way. Amber in the current story of Le Pons is on her way to the see the All-Queen of her people (Formika) as all Princess' do. It's a journey of self discovery and keeping good relations between all Queens of all towns and colonies. While the journey she is taking is a very very common and constant one (as girls come into their own every season and take the journey) her's is special as she has also been tasked with delivering a vial of mysterious liquid to the All-Queen from her mother. She thinks it's just a simple delivery when it is actually much more important and key to the story and world than she could imagine. Old walking animation of the gang, and also one of the only depictions I have of the vial Amber is delivering on the computer mb. This was the second pass for their designs. The 2024 designs of the gang lined up showing off their different heights. I fought with my self for a while to try and kind of make them size appropriated to their respective animal inspiration but it really didn't feel right making Cami the tallest, and having Amber be this tall silly girl felt good and right. It falls more into the realm of Le Pons that reality which is fine because while the world and peoples are inspired heavily HEAVILY by bugs and lizards and the like I didn't want facts getting in the way of aesthetic to the point of bringing the world down. Amber starts her journey alone but picks up these two who have their own reason to head to All-Heart (the city she is meant to journey to) Bailey (middle) is apart of the Lux, a heavily knowledge based culture that works hand in hand with the All-Hearts Domain to protect and record information. A scroll of theirs was found haphazardly in the Greater Luxus, and as one of the head librarians of her city, she has set off to personally return it. Cami (right) is hoping to use Amber's princess status to gain an audience with the All-Queen to air out some grievances about the recent release of his sister from prison. He's afraid his sister is scheming something and is up to no good, but he won't tell anyone that... yet. Text: Above Heads: Leaving Omni's Club Next to Cami a thought bubble and the gay pride flag: Do I like older men? Repeated over and over, filling up the bubble to a comical degree. Next to Amber the Demisexual flag and the Aromantic flag, a thought bubble: Man I'm wondering about dinner too. Next to Bailey the Ace flag and a speech bubble: I'll ask around if anyone knows a good grub spot. Amber's character is quite naive, as this journey is meant to be her coming into her own and learning about the wide world. It also doesn't help she is just genuinely from a fairly isolated colony, never having been in the bigger cities that dot the path to All Heart. She's genuinely good, outgoing, incredibly strong (ant strength babey) and very emotional (emotional in a positive way btw). The three main characters act as balancing foils to one another in a way that, after the get over their initial differences creates an incredibly tight and loving family unit. My goal with them is to make all three of them (Cami probably being the driving annoyance) to go from begrudging travel partners to friends to possibly something QPR-ish. The story is inevitably about finding love and acceptance with your friends soooo
