No - this has occurred to me as well. But full disclosure, I’ve also thought this could happen during one of your tornadoes or hurricanes…wife mysteriously disappeared during the disaster - simply counted as a casualty…but I watch a lot of Dateline too! 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Not sure about Florida and Louisiana, but do know it was the Gov. in Texas who requested National Guard - so unlike California, at least the deployment of National Guard to Texas followed the proper protocol. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
