NEW: As ICE continues to abduct pro-Palestine activists & target green-card holders, right-wing media is waging a campaign to ramp up denaturalizations of U.S. citizens. There is no guarantee they will succeed, but their goals are unmistakable.

I wrote about how right-wing pundits spent years attacking the IRS, including spreading a conspiracy theory that Biden was sending 87K armed agents to kick down conservatives' doors. Now, Trump is gutting the agency to benefit ultrawealthy tax cheats.

I wrote about how right-wing figures like Steve Bannon, Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro, and others are pushing for drastic cuts to Medicaid to offset Trump's proposed tax cuts for the wealthy.

They're pushing for work requirements and block grants to states, and demonizing undocumented immigrants

Instead you'd see hair-on-fire reporting highlighting every negative outcome that could even conceivably be tied to that type of program. Capital would revolt, & likely strike, & mainstream reporting would provide ideological scaffolding. (You'd get like one thinky piece about land reform in Mexico)

at the risk of stating the obvious, if a left-wing president started doing things like using eminent domain to enact widespread land reform and expropriating monopolist firms that essentially operate as utilities, you wouldn't see mainstream headlines about "bold actions" and "provocation."

I wrote about how Project 2025 helped lay the groundwork for Trump's early attacks on worker safety, which will likely accelerate. P2025 proposed that safety regulations be treated as "negotiable" and called for exemptions to OSHA.

Also, Trump's pick to head OSHA is a former Amazon & UPS exec.

NEW: Project 2025 used DEI as a crowbar to open up attacks on the entire working class. Trump is following through, decimating the federal workforce on the back of anti-DEI rhetoric.
