Yes. Pembrook Burrows III broke my heart as a 12 year old diehard Hawk fan. That was one hell of a Hawkeye basketball team.

Platoon, The Deer Hunter, and Apocalypse Now give a pretty good representation of how screwed up/awful the Vietnam War was. Today we vacation in Vietnam and they are one of our largest trading partners. War is definitely not the answer

When it gets easy to fire people it's time to get out of managing/leading others. Sure Beth did not enjoy having to take this action in any way. Fran gave us Hawk fans everything he had. Grateful for his time in Iowa City

Fran did a lot of great things for Iowa. With all its challenges this season might have been his best effort coaching to get as many wins we did. Lack of butts in seats doomed his being able to go out on his own terms.Thanks to coach and staff for the thousands of hours devoted to our team.
