If you are lucky enough to live in a market where Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein is available in theaters, you simply must experience this on a big screen.

Every frame exhibits the passion, creativity and skill of the craftspeople, lead by Del Toro, to create a remarkable adaptation.

There are like 30+ No Kings events in LA, from the Valley to Torrance and Orange County, Santa Monica, Culver City.

Here’s my view from DTLA

Indeed.
When Disney decides to let ABC have a news organization again I'll reconsider.
Until then this image sums things up.

Watch Paul Mazursky's MOON OVER PARADOR.

If we aren't there already, it's coming fast.

Second mailer in as many days. Those who want to prevent California from neutralizing Texas’ extreme gerrymander aren’t f#cking around.
Their shameless hypocrisy is likely matched by the money flowing in to keep the GOP in control.

And so it begins in California.
Got this mailer today.
Protect Fair Elections doesn't disclose any details about who they are, how they are funded.
The website is built on lies and misrepresentations.
Thankfully we only have a couple of months of this BS.

August 1, tariffs kick in and liberate Americans from their money.
Investment accounts, consumer goods, industrial products, across the board everyone pays more.
And for what?

This was Duffy about a year ago. As far as dogs go, she was a 6.5 at best, like an aloof cat trapped inside the body of a West Highland Terrier. We loved her just the same, especially my wife.
She had a seizure last night, not the first time so we decided to let her go.
She lived a good 17.5 years

Not a superhero fan but I really loved James Gunn's Superman. Great story. Incredible casting.
And those who already love Gunn's approach to music, you'll be happy too, especially during a particular action sequence (no spoilers) set to 5 Years Time by Noah and the Whale.
Holy crap it was epic.

Thinking of the incredible film from Alfonso Cauron, Children of Men. It's dark and I fear it is where we're headed.

NO KINGS in DTLA.
The plaza at Coty Hall is full, Grand Park across the street is full. More pouring in. Super chill, peaceful. This is my city
