One thing people are also forgetting is that China are absolute fucking pro's at this stuff. They have experience that is light-years ahead of anyone in the US when it comes to boardgame printing/production. Shifting equipment to US soil won't solve the issue, you need the people too

This was the second game Awaken Realms ever published and they recently announced a second edition that will overhaul/improve the game based on what they've learned about game design/production since 2017. Due to hit Gamefound soon.

I love that there are characters (Cveta I'm looking at you) who are just hopeless when it comes to offering anything useful, but they make the game richer because that's reality. They are just an academic who's scared and driven by empathy. Do they deserve to live as much as the chef or mechanic?

Unfortunately absolutely nothing is going to happen to them. Deny everything, blame other people until the media has moved onto something else, then resume business as usual. Judges won't do anything meaningful, so what's the point anymore? Trump could get away with murder.

For example, let's say I'm reviewing a chocolate milkshake. I will talk about said chocolate milkshake. But it wouldn't hurt at some point to simply point out that caramel is also available for those that like caramel. But this is a chocolate milkshake, and boy is it a tasty chocolate milkshake.

How exactly am I demanding anything? I simply pointed out that if you know a game can cater to solo if there's an official expansion available that allows it (Concordia for example), then it would be beneficial to mention it. It's not a review.

I wasn't talking about reviewing the expansion. Simply mentioning that the game supports 2 - 4 but solo is included in an expansion isn't detrimental to anyone.
I mean do you really need to have played the expansion to confirm that, yes, the publisher definitely didn't lie that solo was included?
