As of yesterday, the question on the online FAFSA has been replaced with: “What is the student’s sex?” and there are only two answer options, “male” and “female.” Here’s a snip of that. 2/

@aclu.org @hrc.org I work in federal student aid and I noticed that a question on the FAFSA was changed. Last week, the question was: “What is the student’s gender?” and the answer options were “male,” “female,” “nonbinary,” and “prefer not to answer.” I’ve provided a snip of the FAFSA pdf below. 1/
