I didn’t really want him in leadership for the DNC. But it’s wild that he’s receiving this kind of push back for stating the obvious and what the majority of the base feels. Things need to turn around fast for 26/28. We need politicians who understand the moment we’re in and how to fight.

He’s definitely charismatic and all that. But he should be the front runner and is now polling in single digits. I think it’s clear Democrats want a fighter (a role he could have easily fit) but instead of that he has moved hard towards the center and now offers nothing for a national ticket.

Listening to it all the way through while you drive late at night on an empty road is just a top 10 human experience

While he’s by no means great on the issue, it’s surprising how much better Tim Kaine is on Palestine than the average dem senator

A lot of young dems seem to only do meetings once a month without a lot of variety. I think also getting strong ties to the State/County Democratic Party leads to a lot more ways of helping out and getting involved. Plus I think that helps keep people engaged long term.

It’s definitely more rewarding to focus on local issues. A lot of my time working with young democrats in the past felt very focused on national issues with some local stuff tossed in where it felt like we couldn’t do much. I’d also say a wide variety with different kinds of events goes a long way.

It'll definitely be interesting how they develop a Trump message without Trump, as of now it seems to underperform in most places by a notable amount
