I actually started playing it last night during a fit of insomnia. There are things I've enjoyed so far, but the story hasn't been one of them.

I knew I was ordering it late (the celebs have a week to make the Cameo video). But Mr. McTavish came through like the absolute gentlemanly rockstar he is! Thank you so much to him for his time and consideration!

And I haven't even made it to the school yet. Just made it to the first little town with the first Pokecenter. 😅 Guess I'm just used to the old school games, where your only early choices were Pidgey, Rattata, Caterpie, and Weedle. 💀 #pokemon #pokemonviolet

I'm really surprised at the number of #pokemon available to catch so early in the game. On top of my team, I've got five or six others in my box already. Including some baby Pokemon like Azurill and Igglybuff. There's a Psyduck and Buizel also in there. #pokemonviolet

So I picked Quaxkey, and named him Dewey. My team so far consists of him, a tarountula named Leggy Boi, a hoppip named Allergen, a fletching named Beakers, a lechonk named Porkchop, and a pawmi named Snuffles. #Pokemon #PokemonViolet

Oh, that's awesome! I got my kids hooked on TF Prime after we went and saw One. You definitely should check it out. 😁 Its been a love of mine in general, a way for me to explore being a kid as an adult. I enjoy reading some of the comics, too. I love lore deep-dives.
