Thinking it long enough, I can see the perspective of the game being at its best in your opinion. Nobody would want to return to crab or zooka spam, they were awful.

But it does bring the importance how much the community issues influence our perspective on the game, which should be addressed.

And I do have to agree that the other points are more prolonged issues in the community or with players rather than caused by the game itself.

I personally was influenced by these issues on the topic since they've been boiling for a long time and have only been growing worse.

If we purely consider just the state of the meta, I would still heavily include how fun it is (which is highly subjective) since it's going to be a decent factor to the topic of being the best.

The meta is at its most diverse it has been in a long time, yet somehow... the game doesn't feel like it's at its "best".

Player interest seems to be diminishing at a rapid rate likely due to how stale and frustrating portions of the game or community feels. The meta being fun is highly contested.
