I remember watching this when it was coming out weekly and I was fully convinced I was going insane. Think I have still have the nail marks from how aggressively I was grabbing my cheeks in stress 😂

This is really helpful. Thank you!

I get that. I'm likely in the same boat as you, really enjoy vampire content generally so I suspect I will enjoy it on some level regardless!

Been far too hyped for this, so hopefully this is the warning i needed to moderate my excitement enough to be not disappointed!

I've heard rumours that might be changing with a substantial swing to the right. How accurate would that be?

Absolutely, it can be a great tool and telling them to not use it at all is never going to happen. But it can be great to enhance learning when used correctly.

We've also been implementing more of this as well. It can be really nice seeing more of the students' creativity and unique approaches to problem solving. Awesome to see new and different approaches to the problem, AI isn't going anywhere so it's important that we tackle it ☺️

I think diversity of assessment is really important even from non-AI perspectives. I hate doing exams but I know plenty of people who thrive in them. Every student deserves a chance to shine in a mode of assessment that works for them. AI is a good excuse to bring alternative assesments back though.

I feel this, bluesky seems a particularly good way to connect with other academics, but I don't want to miss out on the other aspects of social media - sometimes I just want to nerd out on my hyperfixations without it seeming 'unprofessional' and I don't really want to run separate accounts either.
