For those unaware, I've always had balance issues (due to ear problems). I was never able to ride a "normal bike". I was finally able to order this.

On my other socials I reported (last week) that; after my first week at my new job, my first newish (only 1 yr old when we bought her) car was totaled by a moron who ran a stop sign. 😭💔💸

Someone whose spouse has this never truly gets a 'day off' from their duties. Some days it's like watching an accident in slow motion and there's nothing you can do to change things.
We even had him participate in one of those sleep studies. Wish I could've paid for a positive diagnosis 😞

Two pretty great things happened at this time of year in the past. The first being my grandfather's birthday (tomorrow), and the second being this law that took effect when Mom turned 23.
Also, in 2025 (after SIX MONTHS of being unemployed) I have a job offer on the table 🎉

This weekend marks Sixteen Years together with my hubby. We met after I returned to my home state. He was living in a nearby tiny town that my grandparents once did.

I made this frosting (minus coconut and nuts) and substituted coconut extract. To put ona two layer almond cake (with cheesecake pudding mix) and crushed pineapple with cinnamon and sugar on the bottom

Hubby brought home more smart bulbs (these ones have color). Most of our rooms have lighting available on voice command. Now we have mood lighting in my office and boudoir 🥳 Oh, and the driveway too. No more 'accidentally' leaving it on once he's left for work in the morning.
