We rarely pass constitutional amendments. Probably a non-starter. Adding justices doesn’t take an amendment, and there’s zero chance this Trump term ends without 2 - 40 year olds taking over for Alito and Thomas.

I don’t want to discount their scapegoating, but demand is a big part of the whole supply demand equation. More people want to rent > apartments become scarcer > rents go up > property values increase > home purchases are more expensive (particularly when supply doesn’t keep up).

And yet, if a car service driver pulled over while taxis passed up your hailing one after another, a taxi driver would chase the car you were in just to gripe at your driver for illegally picking you up.

..and for the most part he was answering hypotheticals & his answers were generally framed as a far off future (hundreds of years) in which Christians had persuaded rather than coerced the whole country into their faith. Hegseth disturbs me more than that guy does.

Drove up into sequoia national park after charging up to 100% in Fresno. Wound up with 50% battery when we got there. Stayed a week. Left with about 40% & arrived at that same charger in Fresno with like 43% due to the regenerative braking.

His net worth is intrinsically tied to his Tesla shares. Tesla value is intrinsically tied to him being the CEO. Seems like he’s trapped to me. But he owns 15%+ of the vote, so he’s only gotta convince ~35% if 100% vote; probably significantly less.
