Which I guess is all to say that yeah, AI photography is pretty trash right about now. But it feels overly reductive to just say that the technology makes for bad art.

That last one being an incidental technological advancement of a number of things giving rise to a merchant/leisure class.

Photography was criticized by painters, at al, it was just a shortcut for those who couldn't hack formal art training.
