It's been a good day, post-wise, with two new albums arriving, both on red vinyl:
#MarkStewart's (first, hopefully not last) posthumous LP, "The Fateful Symmetry" and #LeadIntoGold's "Knife The Ally"
I prefer the solid red of Mark's album and the insert has a decent statement on it while...

It's been a good day, post-wise, with two new albums arriving, both on red vinyl:

The only annoying thing about today is the news that Gibby Haynes is doing a micro-tour of Europe and England but the most appropriate dates clash with my trip to see @rezzzn.bsky.social in Birmingham and a trip on The Waverley on Saturday

Well, I got my ticket to see TGY in Leeds but I made the mistake of telling the friends who wanted to join me that they "hope" to play other UK dates next year, so I'm going alone! 🙄🤣

While I'm disappointed to see that The Young Gods are not playing in Glasgow for this tour, Leeds is pretty much locked-in (tickets on sale tomorrow, 11am) and I'll definitely try to see them in Europe - maybe twice - Utrecht & Brussels or Bern & Basel or Olomouc & Prague... so many options!

They're named after the two female singers from the Slovenian band Laibach
Unfortunately, their names are as similar as they are so they'll spend their lives being called the wrong name quite often!
