I don’t celebrate producers quitting or making bad decisions but maybe it’s a positive thing that so many of them are purging themselves from the beat selling market 🤷🏽

Making beats for ten thousand hours doesn’t lead to major improvement; making beats for ten thousand FOCUSED and intentional hours will though.
Same for the music business.

Listen producers, if another producer out of nowhere insults your beats and brags about how much better they are, it’s because they’re insecure and you threaten them somehow. Thank them and get back to producing.

1. Human input
2. Copyright assignment
3. Consent (these ai platforms have admitted to training on copyrighted works)

Producers, listen, it took me TEN YEARS to discipline myself, network and finally make a beat good enough to get a placement and go platinum.
It took me 3 years after that to get my online beat sales going crazy.

I love producing beats. I love producing songs maybe a little more, but song production is a huge time/energetic/resource commitment for everybody involved, so it happens way less often.
