Yeah - to be clear, talking to folks is infinitely better. I just wanted to blast that out in case someone else finds it useful. It’s the only AI use case that works consistently well for me.

Rubber ducking is mostly an exercise in organizing my own thoughts. Sometimes having an LLM - even a weak-ish one - helps trick my brain into organizing ideas into english faster than I can myself.
So I'm not asking the LLM _what_ to do, I'm using it to _ask me_ what I did.

Can’t speak to Jeff’s specific feelings - but consider downloading a pdf and publishing it on kindle direct. At worst, you’re making money on another’s IP. At best, you’re leeching revenue from their legitimate channels. Attribution doesn’t fix it, and claiming to be the author is kinda creepy.
