This line is from a recent book review and I admit that I don't fully grasp what the reviewer is trying to say here but I think I hate it? The word 'that' in the final sentence is italicized.
"This is also one of those novels in which the narrator is an outsider and a loner who happens to resemble, one person comments, Francoise Hardy, widely acknowledged to be one of the great beauties of the 20th century.
