Additionally, the small business where I work pays nearly as much for our healthcare as they do for our wages. If I pay 12% more but the small business pays 40% less, that's a net positive for such a business minded person such as yourself, yes?

UHC already tells me to see primary care first. I am not allowed to see the urgent care 2 minutes away, I have to drive 20 minutes. I already don't get healthcare because I can't afford the deductible. Your scare tactics are just reality for the rest of us. It literally can only get better.

Again, sorry for the metaphor. I know truth is important, I know we've never been guaranteed it. It's ridiculous not to expect it. I believe we're in the mess we're in due in large part to single "news" source voters.

Sometimes courts do continuances where no manner of defense or prosecution takes place too. I am aware that other things happen in court buildings. I will refrain from using metaphors I suppose and you can continue advocating for echo chambers.

That much is obvious. There is no defense before you're charged. Pray tell how many people in this country who are voting are going on to do more research before making up their minds?

It also didn't apply to the internet. But that is no reason that it shouldn't have just been amended as the country progressed.

Imagine going to court and the jury only hears the defense, and no prosecution. Neither is guaranteed to be true, both are necessary for a court to function.

Add to that the death of the Fairness Doctrine.

Indiana went 7/9 to republicans in 2024. Braun got 54%. I fail to see how any sort of blue wave will not overcome a more severe gerrymander. I don't keep up with the rest of them, but I'd imagine that it's not much better.

It must have been a long time since you worked for a small business. The bigger the pool, the more diffuse the costs. Thus, a pool of all Americans would be the most cost effective. Medicare and Medicaid both currently select for the most expensive people and leave out all the least.

Buddy if you want me to dress up, I better get a better seat, if I'm gonna be crammed in with my knees up to my chest, I'd rather be in light clothes.

that bodes well for making laws, but amendments are another bar, especially getting them ratified.

Hope like hell we get 60 in the Senate or the point is moot
November 14, 2025 at 10:42 PM
You're right, but congress is incapable of any actual lawmaking.
