If the Red Sox really are already out on Soto, then they should be discussing Burnes/Fried as i post this.

Trading Casas will only make sense if you sign Soto. If you sign Soto, you need pitching. & if you cant sign Fried or Burnes, then you need to get a Crochet/ Jared Jones, which would be fair for Casas. Not signing Soto & trading Casas for pitching weakens the lineup far too much.
