Add another 1 month at least for most to get upto match sharpness, plus a couple of setbacks. Biggest lesson that should be learnt from last year is to assume none will feature in any meaningful way this year. If thry do it's a bonus.

If you have a spare 30mns....

I'd be interested to see if the board did a root cause analysis of the issues in the championship, and relegation. You can't really fix a problem until you understand it. Easy to blame on a manager, system, particular area or employee. It's often more complex than that.

The players are making mistakes and low on confidence.

We can't play them all in their natural positions as the squad is a mess. Recruitment isn't about finding great young prospects. It is about building a coherent team. If you focus too much on the former, the latter suffers.

Therefore unless it get dramatically worse, we will have to give him at least until November, probably the season. He is learning on the job.

The board simply don't want an experienced manager. So anyone else who comes in will take 10+ games to find their feet.

So basically, he's not as good and Mick, but better than Edwards.

Bloomfield was the wrong appointment, but that isn't his fault. I don't think we can afford the time he needs to sort it. However the type of manager we want will not have the experience to turn it around.

"Whilst results, and in particular, performances have not reached our expectation, Mick's attitude, conduct and his management of our squad regeneration programme has been nothing short of remarkable considering the budget constraints and challenges he has had to deal with during his time here.

"Together, we agreed tough targets and milestones at the beginning of the season which have been increasingly more challenging to achieve," said Sweet. "Mick hasn't seen a single stroke of luck throughout this campaign and if perhaps we had fewer injuries I am sure things might have been different.

'Last minute panic buy doesn't get a full game'
'Walsh sent off'
'Striker not scored for 10 games'
'Two goals in last 10mns, turn a loss to a win'
'Poor first 10 games, great Last ten games'
'Last day drama'

Just the tricky 'sign young prospect and play him out of position the whole season' to complete the set.

The only person who could be linking him with that move is his agent. I hope he manages to recover, but we need players who can last longer than 45mns a month. GOOD LUCK Mads!

Well this type of thing was predictable, which is why I was surprised we didn't get a Premier League Loan. There are times to get one for the future, and January was not one.

To be fair, i can't imagine he looked particularly well in them, if they were photos 🤣.

I also think there's an over estimation of the squad quality. It's a no man's land between counter attacking football without the pace and ball winning; and possession football without the possession, cutting edge and end product. We need to find an identity using what we have. Quick.
