Join us on Bluesky as we settle into our new social media platform home. The DJHL has never hesitated to be progressive and take the lead when necessary. Leaving X, or Twitter, as we once knew and liked it better, was not easy, but it was the right thing to do.
Mount Pearl Blades defeated the Northeast Eagles 6-1 in Game 3 at JBA on Thursday night to claim the U13A League crown by a 4-2 point spread. Dalton & Pennell led with a pair of snipes each. We end with our 10th championship going to the Blades in their 50th season of operation.

Dillon Cavanagh's goal late in the 3rd period allowed the U13C Eagles to tie the tough CBR Renegades 1-1 & claim the first-to-4-pts. series & divisional title Tuesday at JBA. Super night of goaltending in both ends. Two teams that really played hard every shift, proving they belong in the DJHL.

Congrats to the U15B Eagles who claimed the League divisional title the other night with an exciting 3-2 shootout win over the Southern Shore Breakers in a series that went the maximum 4 games. Gavin Walsh & Aidan Winsor scored in regulation time & Lucas Walsh and Isaac Decker scored in the shootout

The Scotiabank Puffins became the first all-female team ever to win a league championship in Eastern minor hockey, claiming an exciting U13B 1-0 game 4 victory over the strong Northeast Eagle at Jack Byrne Arena on Sunday night. Charlie Costello scored the game winner and Aleah Costello assisted.

Last night's U11C championship game at Twin Rinks was a thriller as Sam Brothers scored with just 10 seconds to play to give the Mt. Pearl Blades a 3-2 victory over the St. John's Caps. Blades swept the series with two straight wins.

Paradise Warriors edged the St. John's Caps tonight by a score of 2-1 in front of a full house at Twin Rinks to sweep the U11A final with two straight wins. Bentley Dunn led the way two a pair of snipes for the winners.

U15A Northeast Eagles have become one of only a few teams, if not the only team, to go undefeated in the DJHL over a whole season, playoffs included. On Tuesday night they defeated the CBR Renegades 6-2 to sweep the final series & claim gold. Quite an accomplishment!

St. John's Caps edged the Paradise Warriors 2-1 on Monday night at Twin Rinks to capture the U11B DJHL crown in two straight wins in the first-to-four-points final. What's impressive about this team & parent group is not just how they manage to win, but how they have fun doing it. Great photo!

Simon Hubley's late 3rd period goal proves to be winner as Privateers defeat Spartans to claim U15AA crown with a 3-2 victory in Game 4 at Glacier 2. They win the series 3-1. Nash & Barrett solid in net. Gabe Guiney & Liam Donovan also score for Privateers. Blake Smith with two for Spartans.

Privateers defeat Spartans 5-3 to move one win from U15AA title. Jordan Cahill has a 4 point night for Privateers, while teammates Liam Donovan scores a pair & Aiden Goodyear has a 3 point night. Spartans battled back but Privateers popped an empty netter to end the rally. Big Game 4 on Thursday!

Brayden Humby delivers a shutout performance in his return from the injury list as the Spartans advance to the DJHL U15AA final with a 5-0 victory over the Shamrocks. They will now face the Privateers in a best of five final.

Congrats to the U15AAA Eastern Ice Breakers on sweeping the Provincial League finals and earning a berth in the Atlantics. Playing full-time in the DJHL U15A division clearly helps the development of this team.
